A Thank You Evening for Our Supporters

As CEO of SAVSIM CIC, I had the honour of hosting a thank-you evening for some of our donors, sponsors, and those who have supported us by attending our fundraising events throughout the year.

It was an opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognise the collective effort behind everything we have achieved together.

The impact of our work in 2025

During 2025, we delivered our Warriors of Hope programmes in partnership with the Zoological Society of London. Through these programmes, we supported veterans living with mental health challenges and PTSD, while also helping them transition their skills into meaningful roles in wildlife protection.

This work included supporting the ranger community on conservation projects involving lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and elephants. These initiatives reflect the heart of our mission: protecting wildlife while restoring purpose, confidence, and well-being for veterans.

Supporting wider charitable causes

We were also proud to present cheques totalling £10,000 to Action for Children and the Zoological Society of London. These funds were raised through the CBRE Turner & Townsend Golf Day in June.

The cheques were received by Shahine Mardani from CBRE and Melissa Arias from the Zoological Society of London, and represent the generosity and commitment of everyone involved in making the event a success.
