In a world where wildlife faces numerous threats, including poaching and habitat loss, every effort to protect endangered species is crucial. Recently, a team of former veterans from SAVSIM CIC embarked on a remarkable mission to combat poaching and enhance reserve security. Partnering with Wild at Life e.V., they joined forces with Asli Han Gedik to participate in a rhino dehorning program in the Limpopo region.
The journey was captured in a poignant video that offers a glimpse into the harsh reality faced by rhinos. While the footage may be distressing, it serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need for conservation efforts.
