As CEO and Co-Founder of SAVSIM CIC, this recognition is not mine alone — it belongs to everyone who continues to drive our mission forward.

A collective achievement

This nomination reflects the tireless work of our Patrons, Ambassadors, Fundraisers, Development Committee Members, and Independent Advisory Board, as well as our Warriors of Hope Delivery Team, whose dedication and compassion make a real difference every day.

It also belongs to our valued partners — the Zoological Societies, Reserves, and Partner NGOs who enable our veterans to share their expertise across the world. Together, we deliver ranger training, conduct reserve audits, and support crime scene investigations to prevent wildlife crime.

A special mention must go to our friends at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), whose partnership allows us to run the Warriors of Hope programmes. These initiatives provide life-changing support for veterans managing mental health challenges and PTSD, helping them rediscover purpose through conservation and service.

Gratitude and ongoing commitment

Finally, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the veterans who have the courage, strength, and resilience to take part in our programmes — and to the donors and sponsors whose generosity makes all of this possible.

Every achievement, every milestone, and every story of recovery is a testament to what can be accomplished when people unite for a cause greater than themselves.
