2025 Charity Golf Day Raises Funds for Veterans and Wildlife Conservation

As CEO of SAVSIM CIC, I continue to be humbled by the generosity of organisations that choose to support charities during challenging times, allowing us to continue doing good where it matters most.

For the third year running, we are deeply grateful to Turner & Townsend CBRE, who once again hosted their Charity Golf Day in support of SAVSIM CIC, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), and this year, Action for Children.

A day of generosity and purpose

More than 80 golfers joined us yesterday at Foxhills Club & Resort, coming together to raise vital funds for three incredible causes. The continued backing from Turner & Townsend CBRE demonstrates what true partnership and community spirit can achieve.

A special thank you goes to my long-time friend Shahine Mardani from Turner & Townsend, who never fails to pick up the phone each year and say, “Let’s do it again!”

Inspiring talks and shared missions

This year’s event featured an inspiring talk from SAVSIM CIC Ambassador Mitch Hutchcraft, who spoke about his record-breaking triathlon journey that captured national attention and raised awareness of our mission. We also heard from Grant Miller MBE of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), who highlighted how vital fundraising events like this are in supporting global conservation projects and wildlife protection.

Making a real difference

Thanks to the incredible funds raised, SAVSIM CIC will be able to:

• Support more veterans as they transition into the field of preventing wildlife crime and anti-poaching

• Expand our Warriors of Hope programmes, helping veterans manage mental health challenges and PTSD

• Continue collaborating with conservation partners to protect endangered species and habitats
